Hi Shaswin,

The calculation of RVT in PLE is always performed using both the Marston method and the cavity expansion theory formula for deep-buried pipelines. The smaller of the two results is adopted as the governing RVT value, so no changes are required in this respect.

However, the text in the Help file regarding the factor 8.6 was significantly outdated and has now been updated.
